Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller announces to Greene County registered voters that beginning Tuesday, March 26, the Library Center at 4653 S. Campbell Ave. in Springfield will serve as an additional location for in-person absentee voting in the upcoming General Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 2. Under Missouri law, voters who vote in-person absentee within two weeks of an election may do so without having to give a reason.

In-person absentee voting will be available at the Library Center Tuesday – Friday, March 26 – 29 and Monday, April 1, between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Please note that in order to vote in-person absentee, by statute voters must present one of the following forms of photo identification:

• A nonexpired Missouri driver or non-driver license;

• A nonexpired military ID, including a veteran’s ID card;

• A nonexpired United States passport;

• Another photo ID issued by the United States or the state of Missouri which is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election.

In-person absentee voting is also available at the Greene County Elections Center, 1126 N. Boonville Ave. in Springfield, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, up to and including the day prior to the election, and will also be available at the Elections Center on Saturday, March 30 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
