SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Greene County Commission alongside the county’s Resource Management Dept. will tour the ongoing campus expansion of the Judicial Courts Facility secured entrance and the renovation of the former Sheriff’s Office and Jail located on Boonville Ave in Springfield. It will include viewing new space for Juvenile Office staff, courts, and Youth Academy as well as new family courtrooms. Local media is invited to see the progress.

WHO: Greene County Commission and project leaders of the Resource Management Dept.

WHAT: Construction tour of the new secured entrance to the Greene County Judicial Courts Facility and renovation of the former Sheriff’s Office and Jail.

WHERE: The staging area will be at the gate/driveway on the east side of Boonville Ave just south of the crosswalk nearest to the two buildings (see the attached map). Parking is available across the street at the Public Safety Center.

WHEN: July 31 at 2:00 p.m.
