SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Greene County is pleased to announce the completion of its annual report detailing the expenditure of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The ARPA Recovery Plan Performance Report 2025 provides a comprehensive overview of funded projects aimed at revitalizing our community.

Greene County was awarded $56,928,520 in ARPA funds. To date, over $40,000,000 of this funding has been allocated to Greene County projects.

The report outlines how ARPA funds have been allocated across various initiatives, including support for local small businesses, nonprofit projects, local government partners, and the Community Impact Program (CIP). Each project is meticulously described, highlighting their impact on our local economy and community development.

Funded initiatives included economic development, public safety, public health, job development/training and a variety of programs to support county residents. The county Needs Assessment conducted in 2021 was utilized as a primary guide in allocation decisions.

Greene County ARPA funds were distributed to established ARPA programs:

- The CIP funded 10 projects with $22,800,014.85.

- The Nonprofit Program funded 49 projects with $6,137,869.12.

- The County-Wide Program funded 29 projects with $10,390,647.

- The Small Business Program funded 455 small businesses with $6,644,062.06.
