SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Greene County Commission, alongside specialists from the University of Missouri Extension, will tour several locations in western Greene County on Friday, Sept. 5, to better understand the importance and impact of agriculture in the county.
WHO: The Greene County Commission and specialists from the University of Missouri Extension. (Missouri Legislators, Greene County Officeholders and Department Managers have also been invited)
WHAT: 10th annual Greene County Commission Agriculture Tour.
WHERE: The tour will begin and end at the Commission’s office at the Cox Medical Tower located at 1443 N. Robberson Avenue in Springfield. Listed below are the stops on the Agriculture Tour.
8:30 a.m.: Board shuttle bus at Commission office in Springfield.
9:00 a.m.: Backyard Pantry in Republic.
9:45 a.m.: Missouri Berries Berry Farm in Republic.
10:30 a.m.: NuVenture Farms in Bois D’arc.
11:20 a.m.: Ash Grove Pharmacy.
11:45 a.m.: Roots & Harvest Community Market in Ash Grove.
12:00 p.m.: Lunch at Maple Lane Bakery in Ash Grove.
1:45 p.m.: Ash Grove High School FFA.
2:45 p.m.: Patchwork Flower Farm in Springfield.
3:00 p.m.: Return to Commission office.
