NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the legal voters of the City of Battlefield, Missouri, that the regular election will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, for the following offices:
One Alderman for Ward One for a two-year term
One Alderman for Ward One for a four-year term
One Alderman for Ward Two for a four-year term
One Alderman for Ward Three for a two-year term
One Alderman for Ward Three for a four-year term
First day for candidate filing is December 9, 2025, beginning at 8 a.m.
Last day for candidate filing is December 30, 2025, ending at 5 p.m.
Note: Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact the City Clerk for more details, also check website, www.battlefieldmo.gov . Form 5120 Candidate’s Affidavit of Tax Payments and Bonding Requirements Mo Dept. of Revenue form must be submitted as well as declaration of candidacy. Materials can be obtained at time of filing with City Clerk.
Office does not open on weekends or Holidays. Also, inclement weather may shut down City Hall, please plan accordingly.

Please note that the City of Battlefield changed the terms of office from two years to four years in April 2019. (two- year terms are to get back into sequence)
