Mr. Robert (Chris) McPhail, former Police Chief of Battlefield, Missouri, has accepted the position of City Administrator for the City of Battlefield. He was appointed on the 26th of March 2026. Mr. McPhail has served the City for 8 years and will bring that experience with him. Mr. McPhail previously served our country as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Mr. McPhail formerly served as a Planning and Zoning Commission member, Board member, and Mayor of the City of Clever. Mr. McPhail is community oriented and looks forward to his involvement with the citizens and businesses of Battlefield. The City of Battlefield looks forward to his continued dedication in serving this community plus the drive to see the City expand and flourish.
