Mr. Brent Armstrong, former Interim Police Chief (Lieutenant), of Battlefield, Missouri, has been appointed to the position of Police Chief for the City of Battlefield. He will begin his duties on the 26th of March 2026. Mr. Armstrong has served the city since May of 2011, beginning as a Police Officer. Mr. Armstrong has previously served as a Police Chief for the City of Indian Point in Stone County, Missouri. Mr. Armstrong also has a background as a former Emergency Medical Technician. Mr. Armstrong recently was recognized at the February 3, 2026, Board of Aldermen meeting for his leadership during an attempted robbery/home invasion that occurred on January 1st in Battlefield. The City of Battlefield looks forward to Mr. Armstrong’s continued service in this community and continuity he brings to the Battlefield Police Department.
