Whereas, Tyler Moss has been employed by the Battlefield Police Department since December of 2019, as a Police Officer.
Whereas, Tyler Moss has faithfully and conscientiously served the City of Battlefield and it's citizens for 7 years during which time he has become a fixture of the community and been apart of several activities that have had a positive impact on the City of Battlefield.
Whereas, Tyler Moss has served this community in many ways, including his services in the Police Department; and
Whereas, Tyler Moss has used his many talents including his singing abilities to sing the National Anthem at the City's 250th Freedom Fest on July 2, 2026; and
Whereas, Tyler Moss has a can-do attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to assist others within the community to take care of the citizens in Battlefield.
Whereas, Tyler Moss is a devoted family man, and his family is set to take on a new adventure which means he must leave this Community he helps protect; and
Whereas, the City of Battlefield supports its employees and their decisions to do what is bed for their loved ones; and
Whereas, the City of Battlefield wishes the best to the Moss family and appreciate Tyler's service these past 7 years; and
Now, therefore, I, Mark Crabtree, Mayor of Battlefield do recognize the 13th of July as "Tyler Moss Day" since this happens to be his last day of service to the City. Dated this 7th day of July 2026.
