Contractor is Liming Concrete of Springfield, MO. Bid awarded in June of 2026 with completion date before the end of 2026. The project came in under the engineer’s estimate the end of May 2026, which is good the Engineer is OWN Engineering Firm that is located off FF Highway. A portion of the funds are derived from the Federal Highway Administration through it’s Transportation Alternatives Program which is coordinated through the Missouri Dept. of Transportation. The City has contracted with a Professional Engineering Firm (Services (OWN) which is required as part of the funding process. Construction is estimated to take a couple of months to complete depending on the weather, etc. The city is excited for the project and to provide more opportunities to connect our community and offer other modes of transportation ultimately making our community stronger in the long run.
