
Reminder: Springfield and Republic Schools resume classes on August 19th and August 20th. Keep an eye out for children near bus stops. And when driving down Weaver Road near Wilson Creek Intermediate School, the speed limit is 20 MPH in the morning (drop off time) and 20 MPH in the afternoon (pick up time). Slow down!

UPDATE: The payment portal is working now. If you need to make your sewer payments, you can do so at this time.
The portal (CUSI) that the City uses for Sewer Payments is currently down (Friday, 8/9/24) while they perform maintenance. We have been told it should be available this afternoon.

UPDATE: The bathrooms have been repaired and are both open again.
Due to some ongoing repairs, both public restrooms at the Cherokee Trail of Tears Park in Battlefield (City Hall building) will be closed today (Thursday, 8/8/2024).


The deadline to vote in the November 9th election is October 9th.


ATTENTION:
The parking lots surrounding City Hall will be striped and sealed the week of August 12th. Here is the schedule:
Monday, August 12th - City Hall and the PWSD #1 will be closed to the public due to the construction on the entrance (Tower Drive). This includes car access to the Cherokee Trail of Tears Park. Staff will be available at both locations. But access to the buildings of City Hall and PWSD #1 will not be possible by car.
Tuesday, August 13th and Wednesday, August 14th - Striping and sealing will still be ongoing, however the entrance (Tower Drive) will be open. Be prepared to park on the north side of City Hall should you want access to City Hall, PWSD #1, or the Cherokee Trail of Tears Park.


Tonight is the night. Make plans to attend Battlefield's NNO at the Cherokee Trail of Tears Park. The event will take place 6 pm to 8 pm.
