The Board of Alderman meeting that was scheduled for tonight (1/16/2024) at 6:30 p.m. has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum.
There will be an Economic Development Commission Meeting on Thursday, January 18th at 8:30 a.m. in City Hall.
There will be a Board of Alderman meeting on Tuesday, January 16th at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall.
There will be Municipal Court on Tuesday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the courtroom at City Hall.
The temperature will be dropping over the weekend. Make sure to prepare your pipes for the extreme cold.
1. Close inside valves supplying water to outdoor faucets/hookups.
2. Open outdoor faucets to allow residual water to drain after water supply is turn off inside.
3. Keep garage doors closed to maintain a warmer interior for exposed pipes.
4. Open cabinet doors where plumbing is located to allow warmer air to circulate.
5. For pipes at risk of freezing, let water drip from indoor faucets.
6. Keep the heat in your home no lower than 55 degrees.

The offices at City Hall will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr day on Monday, January 15th. They will reopen on Tuesday, January 16th at 8:00 a.m.
There will be an Advisory Park Board meeting on Thursday, January 11th at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall. As always, the public is invited to attend.
