CORRECTION TO THE POWER OUTAGE POST:
Ozark Electric Company has clarified the hour long power outage in Battlefield will occur on Thursday, July 31st at 2:00 a.m. This will affect Ozark Electric customers only. They will be performing a transformer update. It should only last an hour.
Attention: The basketball courts will be closed from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5th as that area of the park will be used for the National Night Out event. The pickleball courts will remain open. Please keep in mind, if you are coming to use the pickleball courts, that the parking will be limited due to the added traffic from those attending the National Night Out event.

We're working diligently alongside Ozark Electric and City Utilities to address the aftermath of yesterday's severe storm. As per Ozark Electric, extensive tree damage requires crews to clear debris before restoration can begin, making it challenging to estimate restoration times accurately. You can monitor the outage status on Ozark Electric's outage map https://www.ozarkelectric.com/outages#CurrentOutages and City Utilities' map https://myaccount.cityutilities.net/Portal/PreOutages .
Storm Debris Cleanup: Property owners are responsible for storm-related cleanup. For small residential loads of tree limbs and brush, please use the Yardwaste Recycling Center (3790 S. Farm Road 119, Brookline, MO). Larger debris, including large trees and root balls, should be taken to the burn site at Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill (3545 W Farm Road 34, Willard). Brush and organic waste are accepted at no cost until further notice.
Please note, there is no curbside pickup planned by the City of Battlefield at this time.

ATTENTION BATTLEFIELD CUSTOMERS: Republic Services has announced that their monthly rates will increase to $16.59, effective on July 1, 2025. This increase is based on the service agreement with the City.
